You may question why they even named their coin with another name from the very beginning. Initially, the team planned to name its platform Scaleton. However, they decided to proceed with DeDust as the better reflection of their vision and goals. Even though the platform was successful, the $SCALE token led to confusion regarding the name, and people didn’t associate it with DeDust.io. That’s why the token was rebranded as a DUST coin.
It was good to find out that $SCALE holders didn’t have to do anything as the token’s contract and blockchain data stayed the same—only the name was changed to better match the platform’s identity.
