Privacy Policy

Last updated: Oct 31, 2026

At dyor.io, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect and how we use it. Cookies that are not essential depend on the choice you make in the site's cookie banner.

Collection and Use of Cookies

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience on our website. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or device when you visit certain web pages. These files allow us to remember your preferences and provide you with a more personalized experience.

Google Analytics

We utilize Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how users interact with our website. The information generated by these cookies (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. This data is used for the sole purpose of evaluating website traffic, trends, and gathering other valuable information to help us improve our services.

Google Analytics and our other tags load through Google Tag Manager. They also include Yandex Metrika, a web analytics service, and a Google Ads conversion tag. You can choose which cookies to allow in the cookie banner or under Manage Cookies in the footer. When you refuse analytics, we also tell Google that you refuse ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization.

Data Storage and User Information

Most of what dyor.io shows is public data read from the blockchain. We do, however, keep some data about the people who use the site:

  • Wallet and account. When you connect a wallet, we receive its public address and keep it with what is tied to it: your membership, DYOR balance and its history, API keys, orders, your dapps and tokens, favorites and reactions.
  • Forms. The forms on the site (token verification and updates, advertising, partnership) ask for contact details, such as your e-mail and Telegram username, and for details of your project. We keep them to review your request and reply to you.
  • Your browser. Your site settings, cookie choice and recent orders are kept in your browser, where you can clear them.

A wallet address is public on the blockchain, so anyone can see what it does there, and connecting it to the site links it to the records above. We never ask for your recovery phrase or private keys and cannot move your funds. To find out what we keep about you, or to ask us to delete it, write to our support bot (the link is at the bottom of this page). This concerns the website; messages you send to our support bot are described in the next section.

Support Messages

When you write to our support bot in Telegram (@dyorsupportbot), it copies your messages to the DYOR support team's private Telegram group, where the whole conversation stays until we delete it. Messages travel through Telegram, whose own privacy policy also applies. To prepare answers, the bot also keeps the latest 20 messages of each conversation, the draft replies Claude wrote (see below), and the time and topic of each request, together with your Telegram ID, name, username and language. This data is also included in our backups.

To answer faster, we may send the latest messages of a conversation (up to eight, yours and our team's) to Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, which drafts a reply. Only your Telegram language setting goes with them. Your name, username, Telegram ID, the time of your messages and the photos or files themselves (apart from their captions) are not sent. A reply fully covered by our knowledge base may reach you automatically and is marked as an automatic reply; any other draft is read by a member of our support team first. Anthropic processes this data as our service provider under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to train its models on this data.

Before anything is sent to Claude, we automatically try to replace text that looks like a wallet secret (a recovery phrase, also called a seed phrase, of 12 to 24 words, or a private key) with a marker. This filter can miss some secrets, so never send them to anyone. The original message, such text included, is seen by our support team in Telegram and stays in our support records. DYOR will never ask for your recovery phrase or private keys. If you have shared them with anyone, us included, move your funds to a new wallet immediately.
